Full course description

Teaching with Artificial Intelligence: Antisemitism, Jewish Identity and the Holocaust

AI Is Already in Your Classroom — Are You Ready?

Whether you invited it or not, AI has arrived. Your students are using it every day — and misinformation about Jewish identity, history, antisemitism and the Holocaust is spreading right along with it.

The pressure on educators to navigate this moment with confidence, accuracy and care has never been greater.

This summer, ADL invites you to invest just a few hours to get ahead of it. This is a self-paced, asynchronous course designed specifically for K–12 educators and administrators.

You will walk away with:

  • A clear understanding of how AI works and where it falls short
  • Five practical media literacy skills you can use and pass directly to your students
  • Hands-on experience with ADL Ora — ADL's free, closed AI assistant built exclusively for educators teaching these topics

You do not need to be a tech expert. You just need to care about getting it right.

📚 What You Will Learn

  • How AI works — and why general AI tools can be biased or inaccurate when it comes to Jewish identity, antisemitism and the Holocaust
  • How to evaluate AI-generated content with the same critical lens you bring to everything else
  • How to use ADL Ora to plan lessons, answer difficult student questions and find activities tailored to your students

🔍 Plus an Optional Deep Dive

  • What the research says about AI's specific risks in Holocaust education — and how to protect your students from distorted or fabricated content

💬 A Note on This Pilot

This is a pilot, and your experience matters. Your feedback will directly shape how ADL supports educators with AI going forward. We encourage you to invite a colleague to take this course with you so you can explore the content together and discuss how to bring this learning and ADL Ora into your school.

Once you have completed the course, we will ask for a few minutes to share your thoughts via a short user survey. Your voice is what makes this stronger for educators everywhere.

A few hours this summer. A whole school year of confidence this fall.
